A Destination

Goody's Sushi restaurant and Sushi bar brings the original taste and visual experience of Japan to you in San Diego. Goody's was established in 2010 when Goody opened the restaurant in National City and has been serving top quality Japanese and Southeast Asian fusion  cuisine ever since, earning Goody's a dedicated following of tourists and San Diegan regulars.

Walking through the doors of Goody's brings a sense of calm and family. A friendly atmosphere greeted with, "Hi and welcome to Goody's!" during the day and a warm majestic atmosphere with subdued lighting during the night with a mix of old school R&B, country and sometimes reggae music thrown in for the eclectic.

The inspiration for Goody's, is taken from the elements of Japan and urban California living, unveiling the relationship between nature, culture and food.

Social

Goody's Sushi attracts many customers old and new. Goody's has received an unprecedented amount of positive reviews.

Tradition

Toasting "Kanpai!" and drinking Sake the traditional way, having a micro-brew or the way sushi is meant to be made. Goody's fuses tradition with modern culture.

Craft

Sushi is by definition a minimalist food. Goody has taken this simplicity to another level, not only in his sushi-making technique, but also in the composition of his menu.
